Celtic Christmas (BMG 01934 11178) - 1995
Celtic Christmas marked the first of a long sub-series of Winter Holiday Windham Hill albums. All 6 Windham Hill Celtic Christmas albums were produced by Mícheál Ó Domhnaill, the bandleader of Nightnoise. Many tracks are from traditional Irish Celtic musicians, including in some cases Ó Domhnaill's family and personal friends from Ireland.
The track below is Nightnoise's contribution to Celtic Christmas I: Snow On High Ground (originally featured on their 1988 album At The End of the Evening with Nightnoise co-founder Billy Oskay).
